As dawn broke on Wednesday, 5th November, over two hundred enthusiastic runners gathered at Doon International School Riverside Campus for the much-awaited DISRC Marathon 2025. The annual event featured 7 km, 5 km, and 3 km categories, testing endurance and spirit across all age groups.
The route stretched along Paundha Road towards Nanda ki Chowki, tracing the serene Ghulaita River. With hills and forests forming a picturesque backdrop, participants found strength in nature’s beauty despite the odds.
The senior boys ran 7 km, senior girls and junior boys covered 5 km, while junior girls completed 3 km. In the final tally, Churchill House claimed 1st place, followed by Lincoln, Gandhi, and Mandela. The marathon truly captured the Riverside spirit of resilience, teamwork, and determination.
