TEACHERS ARTICLES
AN ODE TO MY TEACHERS For the children here at Doon International School Riverside Campus...
I am what I am because of them...
Cheer up, dry your damp eyes,
So often we forget the force that shaped us
into the individuals that we are.... And remember!!
I'm one call away, if it rains.
So often we forget the people who stirred our
souls... I'll blend up that rainbow above you;
So often we forget the ones who were our and shoot it through your veins...
bridge to a saner and more polished mind... If your heart has a lack of colour,
So often we forget our mentors who I'll lend you those colourful stains.
We should've known it better
recognised innate talents in us and chiseled
them.... That you'd grow up sooner or later,
Now is the time to nurture your dreams,
So often we forget our teachers whose only
prop while teaching was pure passion... Nothing to lose and nothing to bargain,
So often I forget my English teacher who while Let's float together on these waves of swoon ...
teaching Shakespeare's 'Macbeth' went around pretending to wash the blood off Let's breathe in the whiff of monsoon !!!
her hands and almost had me secretly believing that she had a karmic connection Hand in hand,
with Lady Macbeth. Underneath the stars,
So often we forget So much to share, so much to explain.
But that can wait my child,
'Plummer not Plumber'
' Taurtus not Tortoise' For now, open your heart.... Release the strain!!!.
Spread your arms and dance in the rain,
' Wensday not Wednesday'
They set the foundation. And remember I'm one call away if it rains...
Thank you with all my heart!!!
