THE US TRIP
After a tiring 18 hour flight, the students landed in the dream city of New York, also known as ‘the city that never sleeps’. The city is probably the world’s most important
financial and cultural centre. The children stayed there for a night and directly headed towards Boston, Massachusetts and stayed there for three nights. They visited three
universities where they attended a Robotic workshop. They also tried their hands and brains on ‘Artificial Intelligence’ in Harvard. The children learnt about the adverse
effects of climate change and the history of climate on Earth. They interacted with the students who took them around the campus and answered all their queries.
The fun fact they learnt was that Bill Gates was a dropout from the same university and Barak Obama was one of its most famous alumni!
After a tour of the universities, the students were driven down to Buffalo and the next day they visited the enchanted and magical Niagara Falls at the American- Canadian
        Border. The experience was mind-blowing.
After Niagara the students flew off to Orlando (Florida) where they spent a day at NASA (National Aeronautic and Space Administration) which is the USA based
government agency responsible for science and technology related to air and space. The visit to KSC (Kennedy Space Centre) included KSC 3D and I – max films, Atlantis
experience. The experience was no less than a dream come true.
When talking about Orlando how could they leave behind the best theme parks? The day for the students was full of adventure and mind boggling rides especially the
‘Wizard World of Harry Potter’ which made all of the students’ hearts skip a beat. The ‘Reign of the King Kong’, ‘The Jurassic Park’ and ‘The Lost Continent’ are also worth a
mention. The most awaited place which the students visited was ‘Disneyland’ , where they had a gala time.
After Orlando, they flew to New York again where the children had the privilege to pay a visit to ‘The United Nation Headquarters’. They understood how local events can
have a global impact. They also saw ‘The General Assembly’ and the meeting rooms of the officials.
In spite of a heavy schedule, children could still manage to include some shopping in the prime outlets like Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Times Square. Oh yes, not to forget the
        lip-smacking pizzas and hotdogs!!!
After the relaxing and uplifting visit to the US they came back to their home land via Abu Dhabi.
The entire trip was inexplicably a memorable one for each one of them as they brought back their suitcases filled not only with chocolates but also with indelible memories
of their incredible stay in the USA.
