DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE

The advent of the year 2020 marks the completion of five memorable years for all of us
associated with the Riverside dream. A dream to establish a world class school that is not only a
happy place for our children to grow-up in but also acquire knowledge and skills in the lap of
nature under the tutelage of a competent and caring team of teachers . While continuous
improvement and aiming for higher standards and greater heights are a constant endeavour for
all of us at the school, we can look back at the last five years with a sense of satisfaction and
        pride.
In a short period of time the school has managed to carve a distinct identity for itself amongst
the best known institutions of the region. This has been made possible by the sustained efforts
of each and everyone associated with the institution and I am ever so grateful to each and every
member of our Riverside family for all their hard work and efforts as we strive to achieve our
collective dream of establishing this school amongst the best in the country.

As you all are well aware, this year a new leadership team took over the reins of the school.
Mr. Dilip George, our young and dynamic new Principal and Mrs. Anju Varma our Vice Principal
have not only made their presence felt in a short period of time but have also made some significant changes in the working of the school. Their rich experience from some
of the country’s best schools has helped them implement best practice methodologies at Riverside and they have earned the respect and goodwill of staff and student
community alike. I am sure that under their able and inspiring leadership the school will continue to achieve new milestones in the coming years.

The school campus saw some great new additions to the existing infrastructure. Our new state of the art auditorium hosted the prestigious Dehradun Literature Festival in
the month of October. Renowned personalities from the literary and arts fields visited our school during the festival and were full of praise for the school and its students.
The new eight lane shooting range, three indoor badminton courts and also the new table tennis arena have given our students further options of pursuing these sports in
the coming year and I am sure they will make full use of them.

I am thankful to the parent community for all their support in the formative years of the school and I can assure them that we shall spare no efforts in meeting their
expectations from the school. I am indebted to the staff and students for making Riverside a special place for all of us and giving wings to our dreams. Finally, I thank the
Almighty God for bestowing his grace on our school and seek his blessings for an even better future for this school and for all of us.

        Warm Regards and best wishes

        Harinder Singh Mann
