INTER HOUSE SOCCER TOURNAMENT

GOOOAAALLL !!!
The most awaited final soccer match was played between Churchill and Lincoln House. The cheers and the claps for both the teams filled each player who entered the field
with enthusiasm. Chins held high and chests swelled up, each player entered the field proudly dressed up in his respective House shirt. The entire field reverberated with
the screams of the spectators encouraging their Houses. The anchors for the day were Usman Shahid and Abhay Singh. In a cut throat competition, none of the teams could
score any goal. Hence, both the teams were given five penalty strokes. Finally, Churchill House could strike the decisive goal.
The overall results were as follows:-
I Position – Churchill and Mandela
II Position - Gandhi and Lincoln
The Principal, Mr. Dilip George mentioned in his address the importance of hard work and team spirit. We look forward to more of such events which inculcate the spirit of
healthy competition amongst our students.
